Hakuba Sun Valley Hotel

Very close distance to the beginner ski slopes as well as English ski/snowboard schools. Great place to be if you are just starting out to learn snow sports. The flooring of the units were just renovated and Space is sufficient for 2 person with a Living room space, and a loft area for sleeping. Bedding was ok with futons but may not be that comfortable if you prefer a softer alternative. Private Bathrooms were clean but we opted to use hotel's available bath house downstairs for most nights to soak away the soreness from skiing. Hotel provides buffet style for breakfast and dinner with sufficient enough variety for a few days if and when you are lazy to venture outwards for other food options. Owner and a few of their staffs can converse in chinese/jap/english and will go out of their way to help you enjoy your trip there.

Very friendly staff and great location

well located very close to iimori ski resort, which has chair lifts and ski school. rooms are well ventilated and good size. Staff was friendly in arranging pickup and drop to nearest bus stop staff provided advice on ski facilities , rental and shuttle bus services .. was helpful

In fact, the breakfast and dinner are very good and the service of staffs is great!
